When are surveys going out/due?

As soon as enough pledges are charged successfully to cover the production cost of the order, I’ll be getting surveys out as soon as I can. My hope is to get them out the first week of August.

They will be due one week from when they’re sent out!

Where are the toys made?

My molds are safely in the hands of Mile High Sofubi, an experienced sofubi man living in Colorado. Yay for domestic soft vinyl production!

Can I add-on more figures? I might want another.

Yes! The enamel pin, shirt, and individual figures are all available as add-ons.

Can I paint these? How do I paint these?

Yes! As another toy painter, I’ve always wanted more opportunity to paint blanks, so I want to give that opportunity to other toy painters and customizers. Definitely check out the pledge tier specifically designed for you!

There are tons of great tutorials out there on toy painting, but I personally use an airbrush and Wonder Vinyl paints, which chemically bonds to the surface of the toy. It’s toxic stuff, so you definitely want a respirator (NOT a dust mask!!) that can filter organic vapors. Toy making is dangerous business!

What is the Nightmare Squad?

It’s a paid membership (add on if you didn’t already) to a Discord server where you’ll receive a special role that will act as entry into a special channel that acts as a priority list for future Nightmare-Chan drops.

Member perks: -All painted editions will have 1/3 the edition set aside for this list to be raffled off for sale* -Get a special role in my Discord server to see early WIP photos and notifications about anything Nightmare-Chan related -Toy and art raffles exclusive to members**

*If you’re unfamiliar with the vinyl toy world, extremely limited runs of painted toys are often in higher demand and sell out immediately. In order to offer fair chances for people to buy, sometimes the right to buy a toy will be raffled off. These type of raffles are what the 1/3 will be set aside for. These Nightmare Squad raffles will happen in Discord and will occur so you can still enter in any public raffles if you don’t win. **There will also be raffles where I actually give away toys and art :)

When are surveys going out/due?

Surveys should be out within a week of the campaign closing and will be due by August 11th. You’ll have at least a week to submit!

Last updated: August 01, 2023 16:57

Can I submit my survey late?

You can submit your survey late, but you may or may not have your items in-stock, as much of the quantity of the rewards are based upon the surveys.

If your requested reward is out-of stock and you submit your surveys within 14 days, you’ll be offered store credit to the Evil Pin Club (Rick’s store) equivalent to the amount you’ve been charged.

If your requested reward is out-of stock and you submit your surveys more than 14 days after they’re due, you waive your right to a refund.

Where are your rewards manufactured?

While I design everything from the US, my enamel pins are manufactured in China, my shirts are printed in the US, my molds are made in Japan/China, and my toys are actually manufactured/pulled in the US.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.

Terms and Conditions

Refunds at this point disrupt the supply chain process and make it extremely difficult to reroute resources. Thanks for your understanding.

Please note that all marbled toys are created through a hand-marbled process - they will NOT look exactly as the samples shown.

Due to the nature of digital screens vs. the process of actual toy/pin creation, there might be slight differences between colors viewed on screen vs the final product. This is a natural part of the process, and if you'd like specific pantone references or have other questions, please email [email protected] ASAP.

I've done my best to ensure that the products are representative of the images shown here (and vice-versa), and you understand and agree to these slight variations.

By accepting these Terms and Conditions, you agree that you've read this and understand them.
